Hair transplant procedures involve taking hair follicles from the back and sides of the hair and transplanting them into thinning and balding areas of the head. Since transplanted hairs are already resistant to DHT Hormone that causes hair loss, the tranplanted hairs will be permanent. The procedure is done in less than one day on an outpatient basis. Some medical conditions may prevent some from getting hair transplantation procedures. After the transplant procedure is performed, doctors will recommend follow-up hair care products and maybe prescription Propecia to maintain DHT resistant hair follicles in the transplanted areas.
